Mr. Sodoro is also admitted to the Bar of the Supreme Court of the United States and was successful in an appeal from the Eighth Circuit Court of Appeals in getting the Supreme Court of America to grant certiorari and after submission of briefs and argument, was successful in obtaining a reversal of the ruling of the Eight Circuit Court. In this case, he appeared as attorney for the defendant in a landmark case involving the issue of Federal jurisdiction. The case has been the subject matter of many law review articles, many bar topics, and on the bar exam tests. The case was Owen Equipment and Erection Co. v. Kroger, 437 U.S. 365, 98 S.Ct. 2396. Mr. Sodoro engages principally in the areas of general negligence, products liability, surety bonds, errors and omissions claims, legal malpractice, medical malpractice, issues of insurance coverage, securities law, and officers and directors liability.
